Dear women! Every year on March 8, we celebrate International Women’s Day. Over the years, this holiday has become a symbol of honoring women, declaring love to wives, demonstrating respect for mothers, sisters, colleagues and women in general. But we should not forget its origins, which can be traced back to 1908, associated with the desire of women to achieve equality for the opportunity to contribute to the development and management of society. Since 1911, it has been celebrated in different countries on different days of February or March. And only in 1975, the UN General Assembly proclaimed March 8 as a day to celebrate the achievements of women in all areas of life and protest against remnants of inequality.
